Why We Started Sumazen

The idea for Sumazen began with a simple observation: some of the world's most meaningful craft traditions are becoming increasingly rare in a rapidly industrialized world.

Among them is the art of Tibetan incense-making—a centuries-old practice shaped by generations of artisans, local botanical knowledge, and a deep connection to the Himalayan landscape.

We founded Sumazen to share this heritage with modern audiences while honoring the craftsmanship, cultural traditions, and natural materials that make it unique.
