The idea for Sumazen began with a simple observation: many traditional crafts are disappearing as mass production becomes increasingly common.

Among these traditions is the art of Tibetan incense-making, a practice shaped by generations of artisans, local botanical knowledge, and a deep connection to the Himalayan landscape.

We founded Sumazen to help preserve and share this heritage with modern audiences while honoring the craftsmanship and cultural traditions that make it unique.

Our goal is not simply to sell incense, but to celebrate a living tradition that continues to inspire people today.
